Dr. Leanne Webb
Climate change has impact to agricultural industry including the wine industry. Dr. Leanne Webb is currently a researcher at the Division of Marine and Atmospheric Research, CSIRO. Her primary research area is to employ spatial techniques to expose links between climate/climate change and biophysical parameters, with regional scale outputs of impact and adaptation analysis for the wine industry and other agricultural sectors.
Dr. Webb also assists the CSIRO Climate Change Impact and Risk team with regional climate projections. Vineyard operators and investors cannot ignore the impact and consequences of climate change to vine growing. There should be a long term strategic plan in how to prepare for changes in climate and to minimize the impact to vines. Please contact us for more details.
