Understanding the physiology of plant is important not only in the improvement of plant growing but the produces from the farming. In recent years, how environment such as H2O,CO2 and temperature affect agriculture has been a much discussed topic. Vine cannot be immune from the impact given by these environmental factors.

Dr. Snow Barlow has conducted research in the areas of plant physiology, the environment determinants (H2O,CO2 and temperature) of grape growth and wine quality, efficient water usage, Australian viticultural terroir and the impact of climate change on Australian Agricultural Systems.
