Rootstocks Selection

Vitis vinifera

Your vineyard may already have been planting grapes that belong to Vitis vinifera. One important fact that a vineyard owner must understand is that Vitis vinifera is susceptible to nematodes and phylloxera. If not carefully manage, nematodes and phylloxera will not only affect the production capability of your grapevines but eventually you will have no choice but to remove the vines completely. That will have a big impact to your business.
